About this blog

Let's start with what this blog is not. This is not a blog about Oak Mountain Church and how great its members are. This is a blog about Jesus and how great He is. These are stories of His mercies, causing the Gospel to flow outside ourselves and toward others. This fulfills the overarching plan of "our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works" (Titus 2:14). As we seek grace from God, show grace to others, and share grace with all, we are reminded that the only reason we can give ourselves for others is that we have a Savior who gave Himself for us.
